I was sitting in park embracing the beauty of nature,listening the sweet sounds of birds,felling the cool breeze touching my face. i was totally in peace.enjoying every moment. suddenly it started to rain. I slowly went under a roof of nearby shop and was enjoying the rain.putting my hand out it was just awesome feel, cant describe in words.
There were lot many people who were with me under that roof. I saw almost all of them were cursing the rain.There arguments were like rain has spoiled there plan, now they will get late to reach home. Almost everyone was busy thinking about the problems which they will face because of the rain. i didn’t see even a single happy face enjoying the rain among so many.
We have become so busy in life that we have stopped being aware of the present.We have just started living in our minds. Always worrying about the future or crying over the past.What we get from it is tensions,stress and reasons to cry nothing else.
We always worry about future, thinking i will be happy when i achieve that in life. Happiness is not a destination my friend, happiness is a journey. When you start living in the present not in your minds you will feel that calmness and peace from within.
Past is history, future is mystery they are least important at this moment, the only thing which is important right now is what you are doing in present moment.Whether you are walking,listening song, driving,eating,talking,working whatever you are doing right now that’s most important for this moment. When you are aware of the present you will be at peace because mind wont give you any reasons to worry you will be calm.
Just Constantly monitor your thoughts. Do not go into to autopilot mode.Every 5 minutes just check are you in your mind or in the present. Be a constant observer do not judge. Watch your next thought.
If you are depressed you are in past,if you are anxious you are in future but if you are at peace you are in present
