Whenever you feel low whom do you call first? Is it just one person whom you call or do you tell the whole world about your problems? Just one or two of your close ones Right.Do you love shopping from one particular shop maximum of times even though you have 100’s of options?
Now the question is why is it so? why it is that we share our problems with only one or two close ones ? Why it is that if we are given options we prefer buying from one particular shop. I was thinking on this today then I came to conclusion that there is a big reason behind this. “THEY CARE FOR US” Yes they care for us.
The one person whom you call when you are in pain you believe that he cares about you and he will understand you.The one shop from where you buy often is not because his products are cheap or something but the Real reason is he CARES ABOUT YOU. He helps you in choosing the right product.
We all love getting cared and Understood and we all humans are always hungry of love and care. This is an important lesson in public speaking as well. When you are on the stage make your audience feel that YOU CARE ABOUT `THEM. You are on the stage not just to deliver a speech you must make them feel you are there BECAUSE YOU WANT TO CHANGE THERE LIVES BECAUSE YOU CARE ABOUT THEM.
My coach Bishal is best at CARING PEOPLE.He makes his audience feel as if they are his family. I learned a lot from him on how we can make people feel special.let me share 2 major tips.
TIP 1: ASK QUESTIONS ABOUT THEM
When you ask others about them they feel good they feel special, they feel you care about them. Ask how are they. How are things going in their life. ASK more YOU focused questions .
TIP 2:AGREE WITH THEM
When you are talking to your audience and they say something whether you like it or not “YOU MUST FIRST AGREE WITH THEM”. That will make them feel that yes you respect their view points. Once you agree and then you can put your view points as well but first always agree with them.
Make your Audience special they will make you the HERO .
I ask you this DO YOU MAKE YOUR AUDIENCE FEEL SPECIAL?
