Newton’s laws are applicable in Public Speaking too?

What if I say Newton’s laws are applicable in Public Speaking too?

I know you might be thinking how’s it possible so let me explain.

What is a law, the law is a set of rules which are always true they can’t be disproved or discarded? They are facts. So what are these laws of public speaking which we can derive from newton’s laws?

Let’s understand.

Newton’s First Law: An object will remain at rest unless acted upon by an external force.

How is it applicable in Public Speaking?

Newton’s First Law (Public Speaking): Your Audience will remain at rest( silent, disconnected, bored) unless and until you use some
external force( your real speaking skills eg: stories, humor, activities, questions, etc. ) to move them

Isn’t it true? The audience doesn’t get excited unless you make them excited. So you have to learn to engage your audience.

Newton’s Second Law: Acceleration of an object is dependent upon two variables – the net force acting upon the object and the mass of the object.

Newton’s Second Law ( Public Speaking): The outcome of your speech depends upon two variables, how powerful is your message and how well did you structure and deliver it.

unless we learn how to structure and deliver a powerful message a speech can never be a great speech

Newton’s third law: For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.

Newton’s third law ( Public Speaking): Behind every boring audience there is an equal boring speaker.

If the audience is bored it’s the mistake of the speaker. We must learn to make it interesting for the audience.

These are the 3 laws that I believe in and I use in all my speeches and as I said the law is something which can’t be changed its a fact. I want you to understand and bring this law’s into practice to become a great speaker.

I am sure you understand the above laws and will act on them.

Type ” 3 Laws” if you will put them in practice from today.
